How do you play Super Bowl bingo? ›

How It Works. Super Bowl Bingo is where everyone gets a random bingo card that has 25 squares, all with different events that could happen in the game. Whoever gets 5 in a row first wins.

The game starts with the first player picking a question from the Bingo board and answering it. If another player has the same question on their board, they can mark it off. The game continues until someone gets a row of five marked off in a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal pattern and shouts "BINGO!"

To play, each player mingles with the other players, asking and answering questions to fill in their bingo card squares. Once a player has found someone who fits the description in a square, they can mark it off on their card. The first player to complete a row or column of squares and shout "Bingo!" is the winner.

On the night, players sit at tables in front of a caller. Sell bingo sheets to players (usually for between 20p-£1 per sheet). Use a different colour for each game. The caller picks numbered balls, randomly selected, out of a bingo 'cage', (or from a Bingo app) and announces the number.

Randomly chosen numbers, usually up to 75 or 90, are called out by a “banker.” The first player to achieve a card (or a line) in which all of the numbers have been called shouts “bingo” or “house” and collects the entire stake money, usually less a specified percentage, if that is permitted by local law.
