Best Bisquick Desserts To Make At Home

1. Bisquick Brownies

26 Easy Bisquick Desserts Recipes » Recipefairy.com (2)

Brownies aren’t the hardest dessert to make at the best of times. Well, the good news is that they just got even easier! Brownies traditionally contain a lot of sugar. We like to sweeten these using condensed milk that gives them a really rich taste. They are slightly cakier than your traditional brownie recipe, but don’t let that put you off. They are absolutely fabulous and can be made in around half an hour!

2. Bisquick Velvet Crumb Cake

Ok, full disclosure. You will probably need a toothpick with this cake. It’s coated in a layer of flaky coconut! This cake tastes ever so slightly dry but goes fantastically well alongside a coffee (especially in the morning!) You’ll find the rest of the ingredients at home easily. Eggs, sugar, and perhaps a few nuts are pretty much all there is to it! Extra points awarded for getting a slightly crispy top!

3. Impossible Chocolate Brownie Pie

Why would making a cake be impossible when it’s this easy? The name comes from the fact that the mixture is poured into a cake tin, and then it organizes itself into layers as it cooks! The Bisquick sinks and then sets on the bottom of the pan, making a super tasty layer of crust. This recipe calls for apple sauce. If you are lazy (we don’t blame you), shop-bought works just as well as homemade.

4. Impossible French Apple Pie

Is there a dessert more well known than apple pie? When it is as easy as this, then it isn’t hard to see why! Again you don’t need to worry about making a crust. The Bisquick will do that for you. From there, it is just a case of combining classic apple pie ingredients such as apples (duh) brown sugar, perhaps some apple pie spice, and a few other little bits. Pop it into the oven and let the magic happen!

5. Bisquick Chocolate Chip Cookies

26 Easy Bisquick Desserts Recipes » Recipefairy.com (3)

Who doesn’t love a chocolate chip cookie? You might be worried that Bisquick will change the taste. Fear not! It doesn’t. You’ll still end up with a cookie that is lightly toasted on the outside and chewy and soft in the middle. The trick to these cookies is leaving enough room for them to spread out in the oven. Otherwise, you might end up with one giant cookie (that might not be a bad thing, actually).

6. Impossible Coconut Custard Pie

Do you know what’s better than a recipe that is super quick to make? A recipe that is quick to make and only has six ingredients! That’s right. Six! As long as you have flaked coconut, you’ll find the rest at home. Milk, eggs, butter, sugar… Are we forgetting something? Oh yes, this is a list of 26 Bisquick desserts, so you’ll need Bisquick too! Mix the entire lot, and bake. Job done!

7. Bisquick Pancakes

26 Easy Bisquick Desserts Recipes » Recipefairy.com (4)

When it comes to pancakes, I’m set in how I make mine but using Bisquick and this recipe will change how you make yours for good.. These taste just like regular pancakes but with an extra oomph that’s hard to comprehend. The key to getting them right is ensuring the right amount of bisquick is used. We find that lemon juice works really well. Due to some clever science, it makes the mixture brighter after baking! Top with some sweetened cream cheese for a taste sensation.

8. Bisquick Donuts

Donuts? Seriously, is there anything that can’t be made with Bisquick? You’ll need four ingredients plus a large pan to fry the donuts in. Yes, that’s right, we fry donuts. It’s the only way. Coat your donuts anyway that you please. We use a chocolate ganache in our recipe. Still, a simple powder sugar icing or even a dusting of fine sugar works just as well.

9. Bisquick Cinnamon Rolls

The last thing you want when you get up in the morning is having to be messing around making a tasty breakfast. Well, here’s an idea. Spend 45 minutes the night before, and you’ll be rewarded with a week’s worth of delicious cinnamon rolls. We like to pop ours in a warm oven while we get ready for work. Cinnamon rolls on the go? Yes, please! We fill ours with raisins, but the recipe also works with chunks of toffee or even apple!

10. Bisquick Banana Muffins

26 Easy Bisquick Desserts Recipes » Recipefairy.com (5)

While we are talking about Bisquick recipes, we thought this might be a good idea. These little cupcakes are ideal as a Bisquick dessert. They are also an easy way to make many muffins quickly, ideal if you hold a kids’ party. They can be topped with a variety of glazes and icing. We just prefer to give them a quick dusting with sugar. You can also try the chocolate chip muffins too.

11. Bisquick Strawberry Bars

Are you looking for a bit of energy? Well, these strawberry bars are absolutely packed with it. Alright, this isn’t the healthiest, but you know what? They taste divine. No fresh fruit here. The strawberry taste comes from a large helping of strawberry jelly. We use a little almond extract, too… It really seems to bring out the sweetness of the strawberry! Once they are baked, they’ll keep for 5 days in an airtight container, making them ideal for serving whenever you would like.

12. Bisquick Raspberry Bars

Like the above idea, but aren’t the biggest fan of strawberries (what’s wrong with you?) Well, try this for size. We substitute strawberry jam for raspberry and add some rolled oats to make this slightly grainy, sweet, and chewy dessert. It is great to give you a boost if you are going for a run… It’s also great to enjoy with a hot chocolate while watching a movie in your pajamas. Guess which we prefer?

13. Bisquick Banana Nut Bread

26 Easy Bisquick Desserts Recipes » Recipefairy.com (6)

Listen, we want to give you a secret. The best way to get a real banana taste into your baking is to use ripe bananas. We aren’t talking a little speckled here. We are talking about brown, almost ready to burst out of their skin ripe. When bananas go gooey, they are perfect! From there, we add Bisquick, chopped nuts, and a few little extras before baking for an hour. Amazing!

14. Impossible Cheesecake

This is almost as easy to make as a no-bake cheesecake. As with other ‘impossible’ desserts, the hard work actually occurs in the oven. The Bisquick sinks and forms a crust. The trick with this recipe is to get your oven temperature absolutely right, too hot, and you’ll find that the topping ‘lid’ will crack and split. It tastes the same. It just doesn’t look quite as nice. When it cools, it sets slightly, so don’t worry if it is a little wobbly at the start.

15. Blueberry Bisquick Mug Cake

Have we ever told you how much we hate washing up? Nobody wants to be scrubbing baking pans. The good news is that with this recipe, you don’t have to! It cooks in its very own mug (hence the name). You will need a microwave to make this recipe. They cook from the inside out, so don’t worry if the outside hasn’t fully set. The blueberries melt in the microwave to dot this delicious dessert with fruity goodness.

16. Chocolate Pudding Cake

The trick to this recipe is in the baking. Get it right, and you’ll be rewarded with a firm, spongey outer layer and a soft molten center. Get it wrong, and you’ll end up with a chocolate sponge all the way through. Oh well, guess it’s time to crack out the ice cream!

17. Strawberry Shortcake

26 Easy Bisquick Desserts Recipes » Recipefairy.com (7)

You’ll hear shortcakes referred to as ‘scones’ if you are over in England. They are best served with a lashing of thick whipped cream (or clotted cream if you can get it) and a large dollop of fruit preserve. Imagine them as a sort of thick cookie that is slightly salty. They don’t require you to grease a baking sheet either, as they have plenty of butter. They really look after themselves. Assemble, bake and eat. It’s that simple.

18. Buttermilk Pie

In our list of 26 Bisquick desserts, 6 would appear to be the magic number. This is another recipe that calls for only 6 ingredients. The predominant taste is vanilla and sugar. The buttermilk gives it a slightly bitter note that works really well. When it comes to making this recipe, all you do is mix the ingredients and bake. If you use brown sugar instead of white sugar, you’ll get a Bisquick caramel pie. Nice.

19. Easy Danish

We love drop danish cookies… Partly because we can be slightly messy in the kitchen and nobody notices our lack of food presentation skills. To make the base of these delicious drop cookies, you need to mix Bisquick, baking spread, and sugar. From there, it’s all about the toppings and fillings. We use a spoonful of fruit jelly for the center and brush the outside with lashings of powder sugar icing.

20. Bisquick Peanut Butter Cookies

26 Easy Bisquick Desserts Recipes » Recipefairy.com (8)

Brownies seem to feature a lot in our list of Bisquick recipes. Do you know why? Two reasons. They are really tasty, and they work all the time! There are quite a lot of ‘cheats’ in this dessert. We use store-bought brownie mix and Bisquick to make a cookie that is actually pretty light and slightly chewy. And guess how many ingredients. Yep, six again!

21. Rhubarb Pie

Ever eaten raw rhubarb? It is seriously tangy! But, when baked, something magical happens. It turns soft, juicy, and really sweet! We might not have mentioned it, but this is actually an ‘impossible’ recipe. It organizes itself in the oven, making it even easier. Impossible pie doesn’t get a crispy top, however, so we cheat a little and add a quick streusel to ensure that we have a crumbly top!

22. Bisquick Coffee Cake

26 Easy Bisquick Desserts Recipes » Recipefairy.com (9)

Man, we love coffee cake! This dessert is named not after its ingredients but what you serve it with. Take a guess? Coffee! We love this recipe as we make the crumbly topping from Bisquick too, so if you have a little leftover from a different dessert, this will make for an ideal way to use it up! This goes down really well with a vanilla latte. Perfection!

23. Apple Cobbler

The term cobbler actually comes from a type of stone that used to be used hundreds of years ago to pave roads. It resembles a thick cobble. When it is filled with juicy and gooey baked apples along with brown sugar and cinnamon, we wish they’d invent an apple cinderblock! This recipe takes a little while to bake to ensure the apple stews down. The trick is to avoid stirring the recipe. Otherwise, you’ll end up with a mess.

24. Bisquick Peach Cobbler

26 Easy Bisquick Desserts Recipes » Recipefairy.com (10)

This is similar to the above, except it uses peaches… And it is a lot quicker! The reason it is quicker is that peaches take less time to cook. It is even faster if you use tinned peaches, plus you get all of that lovely sweet juice! We like to serve ours while still warm alongside a generous scoop of plain old vanilla ice cream. There’s something about the hot and cold that works so well. The top actually goes a little crispy, too, like a sort of half-crumble.

25. Lemon Squares

Are you looking for something just a little lighter? When we are good, we divide these squares in half to make bitesize fingers. Because they are slightly tart and citrusy, they work really well with a strong coffee (that’s our excuse why we like to eat them for breakfast… and we are sticking to it!) There are a fair few ingredients, but once they are assembled, it will provide you with a large portion that keeps for a few days (if they last that long).

26. Bisquick Churros

26 Easy Bisquick Desserts Recipes » Recipefairy.com (11)

We couldn’t put together recipes for Bisquick desserts without including their churros recipe. This dessert is ideal to accompany alongside some chocolate dip. So easy to make, you’ll be questioning why you hadn’t attempted it before. Just make sure you make enough to keep some for yourself.
